All 22 beetles in the first experiment mounted their balls and spun around when they encountered a locked door, whereas only one beetle danced when the door swung open. We have three kitties who are our children and this device has saved our sanity! Before if kitty wanted out they would howl until we let them out, no matter if it was at 2am
. Installation was super easy and works like a charm! Kitties come in and out at their pleasure and it locks for when its stormy. It does require that you clean your windowsill frequently as dirty kitty paws will leave their mark, also it can be a bit of an insulation problem as there is a fairly decent size gap between the door and the frame which allows cold air to come in.
